Salima Salhi holds a PhD in Agronomic Sciences, with specialization in Rural Economy, from ENSA in Algiers. She is a researcher in the Agriculture, Territory and Environment Division at the Research Center in Applied Economics for Development (CREAD), Algiers. As a former director of this division, she had to shape and implement many research projects. Currently, her research interests revolve around food security. In the near future, one of the topics she would like to explore is the impact of climate change on food security.
