Ebrima K. Ceesay is a lecturer in economics and finance at the University of the Gambia. He is currently pursuing his PhD in economic science at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. He is an expert in econometrics, data science and use of statistical softwares such as R, Eview, Stata, SPSS, Alteryx, Tableau, and Gretl for data management and analysis. He has published papers in reputable journals on econometrics, macroeconomics, environmental economics, migration, remittances, food security, poverty, debt, energy, climate change economics, energy economics, forestry, commodity prices, COVID-19, employment in agriculture, food security, and economic growth. His research focuses on econometrics, environmental economics, climate change economics, and macroeconomics.
