Yashna Gungadurdoss is the Pan-African Scientific Research Council’s Program Manager. She supports PASRC’s institutionalization, growth, and partnership development. In her prior professional role, Yashna was based in Mumbai where she led the regional operations of the Entrepreneurial Finance Lab, a social enterprise that advanced financial inclusion in developing countries using psychometric credit scoring. Notably, she led the design, development, and launch of the industry’s first psychometric credit assessment tool for microfinance clients. She also worked in results-based financing in Kenya and Colombia, and impact investing in Singapore. Yashna is from Mauritius and holds a Bachelor in Economics and Psychology from Cornell University, and a Master in Public Affairs with international development specialization from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
